President Bush's Record-Breaking Fight Against AIDS

Gee, Mr. Clinton--you really want the Democrats to continue President Bush's fight against AIDS? That's nice, because he picked up where you left off, and you really have some catching up to do.
Thirty-nine billion dollars have just been allocated thanks to President Bush towards the effort, making it a total of54 billion to your one billion!

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, when I shall update this post with a direct quote from the transcript of your misleading, self-congratulatory speech, in which you actually tried to fool your audience into believing that nothing had been done in the fight against worldwide AIDS since you left office....

Oh, and then there's the little matter of how you cynically left 800,000 to be mercilessly slaughtered in Rwanda.

"And here's what I have to say about that. Everything I learned in my eight years as president, and in the work I have done since in America and across the globe, has convinced me that Barack Obama is the man for this job."

~~Former President Wm. Jefferson Clinton, as he self-congratulates, brags, and circumlocutes in his Democrat convention speech. It's always really about him. No one is more skilled at that sort of obfuscation and demagoguery. And, hey--want to talk some more about inequality, Mr. Clinton? The "new" gap between rich and poor? You made over a hundred million dollars last year, finger-pointing and puffing at podiums all over the world, between parties.
