Election 2008: the Choice is FREEDOM or "Free Stuff"

When Senator Clinton shrieks to an audience, with her Hitlerian delivery (read a few lines in pedantic, near-hysterical tone, wait for scripted applause; read a few more...) that she is going to give everyone free health-care and freeze the foreclosure of their houses, it sounds like a desperate attempt to acquire votes. And, because there is no way to guarantee those things, she cannot deliver them. Yesterday we commemorated a man who said that what matters is not the color of one's skin, but the content of their character. That's something the Clintons, despite their claims to the contrary, will never understand, because they don't have any. So, to thwart Senator Obama's quest for the presidency, they will continue to try to denigrate him and promise things to unwitting voters that they can't bring to fruition. Beware if they do, though, because what they're intending to create in the United States is a quid pro quo: you give up your freedom, and they give you "free stuff". Think the current climate of Homeland Security is invasive and oppressive? Just wait till Senator Clinton shows her hand....
UPDATE: The word is out: Senator Clinton, if elected president, would have all Americans submit to the subcutaneous insertion of a "chip", by which they can all be tracked. If that's not invasive, oppressive and intrusive, then what is? It depends on what the meaning of "is" is, I reckon--to quote former President Bill Clinton!
